About me

 My interests are essay and commentary style journalism. some poetry. Almost no fiction. I luv hip-hop/rapp music almost as much as I love writing, I think that it's because I've had an ongoing love affair with words since I was old enough to write them and rapp music calls to that part of me. when I was a young girl I would fill notebook after notebook with poetry, journaling...anything involving words. I would marvel at the written word, admiring the way it looked on paper and how grouped together with other words it served as a type of portal that would unleash my imagination and take me anywhere I wanted to go. I loved to read and I loved to write. I'm always searching myself as a writer, looking for fresh new ways to say somethin...to state my point whatever it might be.

Ive also studied the Japanese Geisha Arts, mostly Temae (Way of Tea) or Rikkyu Tea Ceremony. This is a great passion of mine. Ive also recently taken up photography and love shooting city life and it is often here where I am most inspired to write. I love to watch people I think they are beautiful in all of their imperfections. On my very best days you would find me at any given coffee shop watching the city sidewalks and hammering away on my laptop. This is where the miracle of creating takes place for me. It is my element, my venue, my podium.

 I'm a born again Christian as well as a recovering heroin addict with 8 yrs into recovery. I love life and I love recording my love for life in many ways...writing...photography...music. My writing talent is still quite raw and needs honing but I truly believe in my heart that I have something to say to the world in a way that is unique...and very much...fresh. I look forward to networking and making connections on this sight that would help to cultivate my humble and hopeful craft.
